This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies CliqMenu uses across the marketing website and the Platform, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
In short. CliqMenu does not load third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We use a small set of strictly-necessary technologies to keep the Platform working and secure, plus Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from bots.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. "Similar technologies" include local storage and device identifiers used by web apps. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example, your theme preference or your sign-in session.
2. What we use
| Category | Examples on CliqMenu | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in / session tokens, security, load balancing | Keep you signed in and the Platform working and secure | No — the Platform won't work without these |
| Preferences | Theme (light / dark) stored locally | Remember your display choice | Yes — clear site data; the Platform still works |
| Functional (ordering) | Cart and order context in the FOS app (local storage) | Keep your in-progress order while you browse a menu | Clearing this empties your cart |
| Bot protection | Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact and login forms | Tell humans from bots to prevent spam and abuse | No — required to submit protected forms |
We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, Segment, Hotjar, or similar third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the website or the ordering app. If that changes, we will update this notice and add any consent controls required by law before such trackers load.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary technologies will stop parts of the Platform from working (for example, you may not be able to sign in or keep an order in your cart).
4. Third parties
Cloudflare provides the Turnstile bot-check; Google provides optional sign-in and web push. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, linked from our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes
We may update this notice. The current version is always published here with its version and effective date.
